HISTORY

ELEMSA WAS FOUNDED

ELEMSA was founded in 1957 as a response to the electrical equipment demands of the Mexican market.

At first

The company focused on manufacturing of transformers, electric rods and lighting fixtures.
Later on

We ventured into the smoke detection area in the mid-sixties.
As time went by

We increased our reach and capabilities in other fire detection and extinction areas. Currently, we cover all the available systems on the market for this purpose.
Throughout our history

We have set up installations to protect emblematic sites in the country such as The National Museum of Anthropology and History (Museo Nacional de Antropologia e Historia), The National Archive El Archivo de la Nacion), The National University Museum of Contemporary Art (Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporaneo); The NAFINSA and BANAMEX art Collections.
